This was our anniversary dinner celebration and as soon as we arrived we were handed 2 glasses of chilled champagne. What a delight! Our waitress was so attentive and funny and really took time to explain the menu to us and to go ask questions if we had them. We had a few dietary restrictions for this meal and boy, did Estela come through. The food was exquisite. This is definitely on our must do again list for Rincón area.

The service was impeccable at this gem of a farm to table restaurant. Our appetizers, main course and shared dessert were scrumptious. Having a separate vegan menu was pure genius for those of us who often have to untangle these options on a full menu. We look forward to returning to this superb restaurant.

A culinary experience beyond expectation. Chef Abel is genius and I applaud his beautiful masterpiece. For some years now, Rincón has been the favorite vacation spot of Juan C. Biver Estela and Nerylu Figueroa Estasie, a entrepreneur couple from San Juan, P.R. They travel to eat and try out restaurants, and while looking for places to eat in Rincón, decided to open their own restaurant there, being such a special place for them.
Meet the Chef
Abel Mendoza is from Añasco, P.R. After working and doing internships around the U.S, Spain, Perú and Australia. He came back home to Puerto Rico in July of 2018 as Estela's chef/partner in Rincón.
In 2022 Abel was a James Beard semifinalist as Best Chef South.
He is also an avid collector of vinyl records, cuban cigars, cookbooks and rum.
